This is the smaller of the two trout lakes at Eisteddfa and both bait and fly fishing are permitted.

Regularly stocked with pan-sized rainbow trout (1-1½ lb), the lake offers great fishing for both experienced anglers and beginners.
If you fancy a fresh trout for your BBQ, bait fishing using maggots or worms is ideal for beginners, and you’ll stand a good chance of a catch. Tonight’s dinner, sorted!
All tackle hire and bait is available at our shop so you won’t need to bring anything with you.
